Picnic Areas

Lake Pleasant Regional Park offers several picnic areas suitable for large group gatherings, including picnics, birthday parties, weddings, and company events.
Most ramadas include:
- Lighting
- Electrical outlets
- Cement picnic pads
- Large barbecue grills
- Nearby parking
Picnic areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not accepted for these locations. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, especially on weekends and holidays.
Bobcat Ramada
Located between the 10-Lane Boat Ramp and the Roadrunner Campground.
Amenities include:
- Four picnic tables
- Barbecue grills
- Nearby parking
Ringtail Ramada
Located between the 10-Lane Boat Ramp and the Roadrunner Campground.
Amenities include:
- Four picnic tables
- Parking for approximately 28 vehicles
- One accessible parking space
- Nearby restroom facilities
Wild Burro Day Use Area
Located at the end of Desert Tortoise Road, off South Park Road.
Amenities include:
- Ten covered picnic tables
- Barbecue grills
- Restrooms Parking for approximately 14 vehicles
- One accessible parking space
Cottonwood Day Use Area
Located at the North Entrance of the park.
Amenities include:
- 23 picnic tables
- Barbecue grills
- Restrooms
- Parking for approximately 25 vehicles
- One accessible parking space
Note: Picnic tables in this area are not covered.
Sunset Ridge Day Use Area
Located at the top of Sunset Ridge Road, overlooking Lake Pleasant.
Amenities include:
- 21 covered picnic tables
- Barbecue grills
- Portable restroom
Please note: Water and electricity are not available at this location.
Visitors should plan ahead and bring plenty of water, especially during warmer months.
