Nature Centers
Maricopa County Parks and Recreation operates four environmentally friendly nature centers located throughout the regional park system:
- Cave Creek Regional Park
- Estrella Mountain Regional Park
- Usery Mountain Regional Park
- White Tank Mountain Regional Park
Each nature center is designed to be fully functional, sustainable, and energy efficient while minimizing impact on the surrounding landscape. Careful planning ensures compatibility with the natural environment, including preserving wildlife corridors, avoiding disturbance to undeveloped areas, and utilizing previously impacted sites whenever possible.
Nature center amenities—such as amphitheaters, patios, and classrooms—are available for rent for events including corporate gatherings, scout meetings, and family functions. For rental details, capacity, and fees, please contact the individual park.
