Hiking
White Tank Mountain Regional Park offers approximately 30 miles of shared-use trails, ranging from 0.2 to 7.4 miles in length and difficulty levels from easy to strenuous.
Visitors can enjoy scenic day hikes with breathtaking mountain views and sweeping panoramas of the Valley below. Horseback riders and mountain bikers are welcome, though caution is advised on more challenging terrain.
Overnight backpacking is permitted in designated backcountry campsites with a permit.
Pedestrian & Accessible Trails
The park also features approximately 2.5 miles of pedestrian-only trails, including accessible options:
- Waterfall Trail: A hard-surfaced, barrier-free trail for approximately 0.5 miles. The accessible portion extends about 0.1 mile beyond Petroglyph Plaza.
- Black Rock Trail (Short Loop): Approximately 0.5 miles in length, this loop begins near Ramada 4 and offers an easy walking experience.
