Horseback Riding
Usery Mountain Regional Park welcomes hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Visitors bringing horses must remain on designated trails. Unless otherwise posted, all trails are multi-use, and all users are encouraged to practice proper trail etiquette.
Horse Staging Area
A designated horse staging area is available within the park. Please refer to the maps section for trail access and route options.
Trail Overview
With more than 34 miles of trails, Usery Mountain Regional Park offers a wide range of experiences for all skill levels. Trail lengths range from short 0.2-mile routes to longer trails exceeding 7 miles, with options from easy to challenging.
One of the park’s highlights is its elevation, offering sweeping views of the surrounding desert. Visitors can enjoy expansive vistas across the open plains to the south, as well as distant mountain ranges to the west and north.
