USERY MOUNTAIN CONNECTOR TRAIL PROPOSAL
The Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department is planning the development of a new multi-use trail at Usery Mountain Regional Park. This additional trail will help provide a connection from Tonto National Forest south to Usery Mountain Regional Park.
The Usery Mountain Recreation Area Master Plan confirms the need for continually expanding recreational facilities to meet the needs of the ever-growing service population. This new trail will also help support an essential goal of the park master plan by providing a bridge between Usery Park and the National Forest. Also to highlight, this new trail will provide park patrons three (3) new trail loops to enjoy.
