Radio Controlled Model Airplanes
The Arizona Model Aviators operate a flying site within Usery Mountain Regional Park, offering a dedicated space for radio-controlled (R/C) aircraft enthusiasts.
The facility features:
- 800 ft x 85 ft paved runway with 75 ft dirt overruns
- Covered ramada area (250 ft)
- Designated pit area
- Ample space for spectator viewing
On event and contest days, additional amenities may include electrical power (via generator), food concessions, and vendor areas.
Access to the airfield is available whenever a club member is present. The gate is secured after the last member leaves.
Visitors are welcome to stop by and experience the world of R/C aeromodeling.
