HIKING IN THE PARK

Cave Creek Regional Park offers more than 15 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Trail distances range from 0.2 miles to 5.8 miles and vary in difficulty from easy to challenging.

If you prefer a short and easy hike, the Slate Trail is a good option.

For a longer and more difficult hike, consider the 5.8-mile Go John Trail.

The park’s trails are popular because the changing elevations provide wide, scenic views of the surrounding desert landscape.

All trails are multi-use unless otherwise marked. Please follow proper trail etiquette, carry plenty of water, and let someone know your planned route before heading out.
