If you’re fascinated by radio-controlled (RC) aircraft, the Arizona Model Pilots Society (AMPS) is a must-see. Located within Adobe Dam Regional Park, AMPS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the enjoyment and advancement of RC aviation in the Valley.

  • Founded by passionate hobbyists, the club’s mission is to:
  • Secure, develop, and operate a safe flying site for model aircraft
  • Encourage interest in model aircraft building and design
  • Support beginners through mentorship and hands-on training
  • Share knowledge, ideas, and flight techniques among members
  • Promote model aviation within the community through events and education

The club frequently hosts open houses, fly-ins, and training days that welcome visitors and new members alike.
