MERKLE AND VISTA TRAILS TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR IMPROVEMENTS
February 12 - March 5, 2026
From February 12–March 5, the Merkle and Vista Trails, and the associated trailhead parking lots, will be closed for an improvement project. Materials and equipment will occupy the area throughout the project.
The project will focus on necessary repairs due to erosion damage from weather events. Repairs include additional culverts, tread replacement, water control basins, and rip-rap to mitigate the effects of water on the trail.
