Sunday January 31, 2026, the Annual Prickly Pedal Mountain Bike Race will be held.
This event starts within the town of Cave Creek, mountain bike riders will ride to Spur Cross Conservation area, exiting on to the Maricopa Trail, riding this to Lake Pleasant entering on to the Beardsley, Frog Tanks trail to finish at the 10-lane East parking lot.
Mountain bike riders, and runners will be utilizing the following trails: Beardsley, Wild Burro, Pipeline Canyon, Frog Tanks, these trails will have both runners and mountain bikers.
Runners will start and finish at the 10-lane East parking lot area.
Please be cautious within the parking areas of the 10-lane Boat ramp parking areas to include the area at the end of Waterline way road, as there will be a large amount of extra traffic, (pedestrian, bikers, cars, etc.).
