Learn about wildflowers and pollinators of the Sonoran Desert on this guided hike with Ranger Eric! Click on program title for more details.

Join Ranger Eric for a guided hike to learn about the plants and ecology of the Sonoran Desert, with a special emphasis on spring annual wildflowers. Based on what we saw germinating after late fall rains, we have a good chance of seeing early wildflowers on this hike. We will hike 2.6 miles on the Baseline Trail loop from the Baseline Trailhead and Baseline Spur. The trails are moderate, with occasional inclines and rocky, uneven terrain. Please wear sturdy footwear and sun protection, carry ample water, electrolytes, and snacks. Restrooms are located at the Baseline Trailhead by the turf area.

For those of you participating in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge, this is a great way to work towards your goal! The challenge runs from Nov.1-Feb. 8.
