ATTENTION: TAMARISK INVASIVE SPECIES REMOVAL
JANUARY 5 - 31 AND FEBRUARY 28 - MARCH 31, 2026
Crews will be using hand equipment (wood chippers, chainsaws, and herbicide application) in the area at Estrella Mountain Regional Park to remove tamarisk trees and shrubs.
The El-Rio parking lot will be closed during this time to allow the crews to do the work safely. Please DO NOT enter the area. The work area is highlighted in yellow on the map above.
