    Access to the Estrella Park Competitive Track parking and trailhead area will be closed from 10/17/17 to 11/23/17 due to PIR and NASCAR races and camping closures. Please consider using the muliti-purpose trails in the main part of the park accessed at Vineyard and Casey Abbott roads.     (Maricopa County) – The Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department initiated its annual fire ban on May 8. Now, the Department is taking additional steps to protect the parks due to the extremely dry conditions. Effective Monday, June 26, smoking in Maricopa County parks will be prohibited, except within an enclosed vehicle or at developed recreation sites such as parking lots, picnic ramadas or campsites. ... more details
