    Easter at Estrella Park is a fun family time. All ramada picnic areas are reserved on Easter Sunday (4/4/21). There are only a few scattered picnic tables first come first served. It is not permitted to leave unattended items to hold a table or area. It is not permitted to rope, tape or flag off areas. It is not permitted to cone or hold parking spaces.   • Estrella Park Casey Abbott Road South Closed and busy trails for running event Sat. 1/16 and Sun. 1/17/2021

    Estrella Mountain Regional Park's Casey Abbott Road South will be closed due to a running event on Saturday 1/16 and Sunday 1/17/2021. Access is available to most picnic areas and trails via Casey Abbott Road North. The Quail Trail and some trails south will be busy with runners.   • Estrella Regional Park Competitive Track Closed for Event 1/23 and 1/24/2021

    The Estrella Mountain Regional Park Competitive Track will be closed for the MBAA state mountain bike races on Saturday 1/23 and Sunday 1/24/2021. Most riders will stay on the Competitive Track but some riders will use the Desert Rose trail and go to some main park trails and back again.     "As a small token of appreciation for the freedoms afforded to all Americans, Maricopa County's regional parks will be honoring all veterans with Military Service Appreciation Day," said Clint Hickman, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. "All active and non-active military personnel will have their $7 per vehicle day-use entry fee waived on November 11.     Recently, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved an agreement on behalf of the parks and recreation department to execute an Assignment of Use Management Agreement with Southwest Golf Management, LLC to improve, manage, operate, and maintain the Tres Rios Golf Course.
