Join us in making native seed pellets to share back in nature! Maricopa County Parks will host two events from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Registration is required.
October 2nd, 8:00 am – 11:30 am - Meet at the Nature Center.
Participants will learn to make seed pellets by mixing native seeds with clay, soil/compost, and water. You will also learn how to process the native seed and prepare for the pellet creations.
The initiative to make seed pellets is a proactive step towards ecological restoration.
Please bring water and a snack. Dress in clothes you do not mind getting dirty, or wear an apron. We will be indoors and outdoors near the nature center.
We encourage family participation; however, parents must be present for minors, and it is recommended that participants be at least five years of age.
