Events

The hike will cover 3 miles and gain 350ft of elevation on sandy and rocky trail. All hikers are required to bring flashlights and if you have them, please feel free to bring blacklights to help the ranger look for scorpions. Hikers should bring a warm layer and wear sturdy close toed shoes. If mobility or balance is an issue it his highly encouraged that you bring a set of hiking poles. Please note there are no bathrooms or water fountains at the Desert Rose trailhead so please plan ahead. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 2/4/25.
