The hike will follow the Wild Burro trail for 3 miles round trip along the lake. The trail is rated as easy, except for some sections that can be rocky and a few small step downs. Please bring sunscreen, water and wear sturdy shoes. Hiking poles can be helpful if you have balance difficulties. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp with a full charge or extra batteries. If you have blacklight feel free to bring it along and help the ranger hunt for scorpions.
PLEASE NOTE: Outdoor summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events.
