The hike will take up and into the towering White Tank mountains along a short 3 mile section of the Goat Camp trail. As you hike you will be greeted by great views towering saguaros and the rare elephant trees. As the sun sets and the stars come out the hunt for scorpions is on. Hikers should have plenty of water, wear boots/ sneakers, and a fully charged flashlight. There are no bathrooms at the trailhead but there is a water spigot.
