Explore the beauty of Lake Pleasant on a sunset cruise narrated by a Park Ranger. Learn about the history, flora and fauna of this oasis in the desert that serves as both a massive storage reservoir and a popular outdoor recreation destination for residents and visitors alike. The boat will make brief informational stops along the way at Waddell Dam and select spots along the shoreline and open water. The Ranger will also point out any incidental occurrences of resident animals, such as bald eagles, egrets, wild burros and more! Before returning to the marina, the boat will pause so that passengers can enjoy the reflections and colors of a majestic desert sunset on the water.
The charter boat is owned and operated by Scorpion Bay Marina, a recreation service provider situated within Lake Pleasant Regional Park. Reservations are required and must be made through Scorpion Bay. Tickets are $30 per person and space is limited to 40 participants.
