Come join Ranger Kevin as we hike less than a mile on the Waterfall trail to Petroglyph Plaza, the site of an amazing collection of indigenous rock art, much of it believed to be made by the prehistoric Hohokam people. We’ll look at a gallery of different symbols and shapes, speculate on their possible meanings, and learn more about the incredible humans who lived in this area over a thousand years ago. Trails is paved all the way from the trailhead to Petroglyph Plaza, and mostly flat. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are recommended.
