The hike is rated as moderate and will cover sections of the Ford Canyon, Wadell, and Mesquite trails for 3.75 miles and gain 189 feet of elevation gain. All hikers should have sturdy shoes and flashlights that are fully charged or with extra batteries. If you have them feel free to bring along black lights to help the ranger look for scorpions. The trailhead does not have a bathroom or water fountain so please make sure to bring plenty with you.

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 5/13/26.
