Come hike through the desert and learn about the native plants and animals as well as the amazing history of the Hohokam people that once called the White Tank Mountains home. Meet at the waterfall trail parking area water and bathrooms are available. Students will be led up a mostly paved walkway through pristine desert landscapes. They will have the chance to get close to 1000-year-old petroglyphs and grinding stones. Once the paved section ends, we will continue farther into the canyon to a waterfall that only flows after significant rain.  The last section of trail is rocky and sandy so make sure your kids have sturdy shoes
