Dogs and their humans are welcome! Join Ranger Jacque on a fun adventure with your fur baby as we meet new friends (both two-legged and four!) and explore the park! This scenic hike traverses the Blevins, Cat Peaks, and Cat Peaks Pass trails, making a 3 mile loop. The route is beautiful, featuring a mostly gradual elevation change of about 250 feet; however, the Cat Peaks Pass segment features a moderately difficult 66-foot incline over a quarter mile. We'll be rewarded by a resting spot over a viewpoint overlooking the valley.
Along the way, we'll share tips for hiking with dogs, including dog-friendly trails, where to go in the summer, what to do about rattlesnakes, trail "petiquette," and what practical gear you really need versus what's just nice to have.

Remember to bring: 6-foot leash, doggie bags, plenty of water for both you and your pet; sturdy, close-toed shoes, hat and sunscreen for you; personal light for after dusk.
