Ranger Olivia will lead you on an evening walk to enjoy a peaceful evening in the desert as the full moon rises. We will also keep an eye and ear out for any creatures that may be stirring, such as owls, coyotes, rodents and more. This is a loop trail that is approximately 2.5-3 miles total distance. We will be hiking on Goldmine Trail to begin, change onto our Service Road, and finally loop onto Moonlight Taril to enjoy the moon glow. The terrain is mostly level but there are some uneven portions with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring and flashlight and plenty of water. No pets, please. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. The entry station will be closed at this time so please bring $7 cash to pay the park fee or your annual pass to display.
