Enjoy a trek through the desert! Come along and learn about some of the local flora and fauna and their unique adaptations to life here in the Sonoran Desert. Be on the lookout for critters as we take in the desert scenery and learn about how all the creatures and plants of the desert rely on each other to survive, or not, and how that drives systems that allow the desert to thrive.
This is a roughly 2-mile hike along easy and barrier free sections of trail and park road. Closed toe shoes and water bottles are required. Sunscreen and hats are recommended. Walking sticks or hiking poles are not necessary but may prove helpful in places. There will be water and restrooms available at the Trailhead.
