Come along with Ranger Shaun for a taste of Arizona Summer Daylight hiking and why we don’t do it often. We’re 5 days officially into Summer and temps are already going through the roof by daybreak. The good news is it’s a great time of day to see birds, reptiles, and other wildlife getting in the first and last of their business before trying to settle in for the day!
We'll walk the roughly 1.3-mile Blackrock loop. Sunscreen, water, closed toed shoes required. Hats and sunglasses strongly recommended. No pets please.
MEETING LOCATION: Area 4, Blackrock Trailhead
