Stop by the nature center and get up close and personal with some of the coolest critters the Sonoran Desert has to offer! Click program title for more details.

Ranger Derik will have a table set up to talk about common misconceptions about snakes, explain the adaptations used to survive in the desert, and even about a species of Red White and Blue rattlesnakes that can be found in Maricopa County. On the table will be natural artifacts, pictures, books and coloring pages all talking about the reptiles found within the park. Snakes and other species will be available for you to touch if you are feeling brave.
