Hike the Scenic Trail with Ranger Derik to learn about the many plants that can be
eaten in the desert and about the native peoples that first harvested them. Click program title for more

We will hike 4.3 miles out and back of the Scenic Trail starting from the Trailhead Staging Area. The trail is rated as moderate and will have sandy, rocky, and uneven sections so please wear proper footwear and if you need them trekking poles are not a bad idea. Make sure to bring water on the hike as well as a snack. Bathrooms and water are available at the trailhead. MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead Staging Area Limit 20 participants. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 4/30/24.
