What characteristic(s) makes a bird a bird? What birds can be found in Usery Mountain Regional Park? How are they able to survive and thrive in such a hostile environment? Discover the answers to these questions and more in this exciting one-hour presentation!  Feel free to bring your lunch with you inside our nature center as Jim Taylor (former biology teacher) and his wife, Judy, add to our understanding of the avian life in our desert back yard. After the program, we will step out to the back patio to identify birds at our feeders.
