Come join Ranger Evan on this informative and investigative hike focusing on two prominent figures of the desert...the coyote...and cacti!
Have you heard howling in the desert? Have you seen some pretty fruit on cacti? Whether you have or have not, we will be exploring relationships of those two different things, and discussing both of their roles in our ecosystem. Come join Ranger Evan as we hike a roughly three-mile loop on the North trail. Be sure to bring your water, hiking shoes and your questions about the Sonoran Desert! Hats and sunscreen are also recommended. Registration is required for this program and group size will be limited to 20 people. We'll meet by the North Trail trailhead. Restrooms are available. Please no pets.
To register, please call the McDowell Mountain Nature Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 3 with your name, number attending and your phone number. Registration deadline: Friday, January 26th.
