uring America’s 250th Anniversary month, Ranger Derik will look back on those who were here long before America, Spain, and Mexico existed. He’ll give a presentation with visuals on the Hohokam and how they were able to live and thrive in the Sonoran Desert. Topics covered will be housing, canals, pottery, food, rock art, and trade. Also on display will be real pottery, stone tools, and native plant samples.
