National Public Lands Day is an annual event that encourages the public to connect with the public lands around them. This can include joining volunteer conservation projects or just simply getting outdoors, exploring nature safely and responsibly and supporting efforts to learn about and protect these special places. To honor this day, Ranger Jacque will host an information table with specimens, props, photographs, maps and more to introduce you to the County Parks system and some of the cacti, trees, flowers, rocks, animals and stories that can be found at their locations around the Valley. If you are planning to hike or recreate before or after stopping by, be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and sun-protective clothing and bring plenty of water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.

MEETING LOCATION: Nature Center

No registration required.
