Is it a desert or dessert? In this short hike and indoor presentation we will learn what plants are the most scrumptious and what plants should be left for the wildlife. Meet at the Nature Center with good walking shoes and a sense of adventure!
Get an introduction to edible desert plants and medicinals. We’ll explore which plants are edible and the ways they have been traditionally prepared. We will also learn how people have been using the desert for centuries to cure the common cold and bring relief to aching muscles. Bring plenty of water and good walking shoes and meet at the Nature Center.
