A park ranger will help you learn about our amazing desert with the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department Jr. Ranger Guidebook. We will start indoors and go through the topics in the booklet. Then we will take a short walk around the Nature Center and nearby areas to get ideas on how to complete the activities that can earn you your official Jr. Ranger Badge! You can complete the activities at the park or at home and bring the finished book back at a later time to receive your badge. Limited to 20 participants. (In this case, registration is required for the school-age children working toward the Jr. Ranger badge and their adult caregiver(s). Accompanying youngsters on foot or in strollers do not need to be reported as participants, but may get a booklet).
