Homeschool students can learn about the rock cycle and mineral formation with Ranger Nikki.
Learn about the rock cycle, rock types, how rocks and minerals are formed and ways to identify them with Ranger Nikki. You will also see cool mineral specimens and discover how we use rocks and minerals in everyday life. Includes classroom discussion, hands-on activities, and a take-home project. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and a hat. Meet inside the Nature Center.
Maximum 20 participating students. Registration required by calling the Estrella Nature Center at 602-506-2930 x6 with your name, phone number and number of participating students attending. Registration deadline: Tuesday, January 10.
