Events

Homeschool students will learn all about fossils – how they form, how they are found and excavated and what we can learn from them. We will talk about paleontology and see real fossil specimens from the land and sea. Includes indoor discussion and activities, a take-home craft project and an opportunity to be a junior paleontologist and prepare some special “fossils”. Maximum 20 participating students. Registration required by calling the Estrella park office at 602-506-2930 x6 with your name, phone number and number of participating students attending. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and a hat. Meet inside the Nature Center. Registration deadline: Tuesday, November 8.
