Learn about birds of the Sonoran Desert with Ranger Eric on this guided hike on the Slate and Flume Trails. Along the way, we will discuss bird identification by sight and sound, and learn about the ecology of the region's birds. We will meet at the Slate Trailhead, which has restrooms available. The hike will last up to 3 hours and we will hike 2-3 miles. The trails are rated as easy to moderate, with some rocky or uneven surfaces. Please bring your own water and wear sturdy footwear.
