Ranger Nikki will introduce you to San Tan’s animal ambassadors, including snakes, chuckwallas, tortoises, a tarantula and a Gila monster. Learn about their life cycles, adaptations and what you should do if you encounter their relatives on the trail. Bring your water with you and a hat to visit the outdoor tortoise enclosure. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center.
