Hike with a ranger through the Sonoran Desert and learn about the plants and animals that live there while taking in views of Lake Pleasant
Join Ranger Derik on a 2- 2.5 mile section of the Wild Burro Trail to talk about cacti and the unique animals that call the desert home. The trail is rocky and uneven in many places, so please wear closed toed shoes or boots. Even though the temperatures are cooling down make sure to bring plenty of water and a snack if you would like. We will be meeting at the Wild Burro Day Use Area; there is a bathroom and a water fountain there. Please no pets.
