It's time again for the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation annual 100-Mile trail challenge! November 1 is the official start date so take the first steps to your goal on a guided hike with the ranger. The planned hike is the San Tan, Hedgehog, San Tan, Moonlight loop for 4.6 moderate miles. But, you can take your own shorter or longer route. Come join us to learn about our park, make new friends and plan your next outings. Of course, if you are a biker or equestrian you are welcome to start your 200-mile journey with us and we'll cheer you on. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water, a hat, sunscreen and snacks. Meet at the main trailhead map kiosk/picnic table.
