Join Ranger Evan on with this fantastic hike through the Sonoran Desert looking at wildflowers! Though we may only do a little frolicking ourselves; we hope to see some Sonoran Desert fauna frolicking their way into summer. Please enter the park through the NORTH ENTRANCE of Lake Pleasant (about 1.5 miles north of the main entrance). The trailhead is located at the end of the road after taking your first right pass the entry station. Expected length will be around 3-4 miles. Please be sure to bring ample water, sturdy footwear, and sun protection. MEETING LOCATION: Cottonwood Day use area, Pipeline Canyon /Yavapai Trailhead, via the NORTH ENTRANCE Limit 20 participants. To register, please email Ranger Evan at evan.mclenithan@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted.
