Lace up your boots—it's back! The Maricopa County Parks and Recreation annual 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge kicks off November 1 and runs through February 8. You’ve got 100 days to hike, run, bike, or horseback ride your way through 100 or more miles of scenic trails across the county. Whether you're a trail veteran or just looking for a fun reason to get outside more, this challenge is for everyone—and unlike many fitness programs, it’s completely free to join. No expensive sign-ups, just fresh air and open trails.

Those who complete the challenge will earn a free commemorative t-shirt, along with a stronger body, a clearer mind, and some well-deserved bragging rights. It’s a great way to boost your physical and mental well-being while enjoying the natural beauty of our parks. Want to learn more before diving in?
