Join Ranger Jacque for an informative walk focusing on the unique flora of the Sonoran Desert. This 3.5–4 mile out-and-back walk will traverse sections of the Quail and Rainbow Valley Trails, offering a chance to search for early wildflowers and pollinators. This hike is rated moderate in difficulty; participants should expect some uneven, hilly, and rocky terrain.
For your comfort and safety, please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, bring plenty of water, sun protection, and snacks. Hiking poles are optional. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center, where we will meet.
