Learn about the Sonoran Desert in springtime with a chance to see blooming shrubs, cacti and maybe even late season wildflowers. This is an out-and-back route using Frog Tanks and Beardsley Trails up to 4 miles total. The trail is rated easy to moderate and the surface varies from level and smooth to uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring snacks, water and a hat. Restrooms and water are available across the street in the center of the 10-Lane Boat Ramp parking lot.
