What better way to celebrate National Trails Day than an invigorating out-and-back hike to one of the most scenic spots in the park?! We will hike about 2 miles (4 miles roundtrip) along the Pass Mountain Trail to reach a gorgeous viewpoint overlooking the valley. The trail is rated as moderate to difficult, featuring rocky terrain and a heart-pumping nearly 500-foot climb! Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water, hat and sunscreen. Restrooms and water are available at the Wind Cave Trailhead where we will meet. No pets, please.
MEETING LOCATION: Wind Cave Trailhead
