Enjoy an early morning walk to watch for birds, lizards, snakes, and small animals with
Ranger Olivia. Click on program title for more details.
Let’s see what sorts of wildlife we can spot. Birds should be active at this time and there’s not a bad chance for lizards, and small animals too. This hike will be about a 2-mile hike on a portion of the Beardsley trail. This trail is easy-moderate with mostly flat ground, but there are sections with loose rocks and uneven ground. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring plenty of water! There are NO restrooms or water available at the trailhead, where we will be meeting. This entrance to the park does not have an entry station and is CASH ONLY, please bring $10 cash per vehicle for the entry fee.
MEETING LOCATION: Beardsley CSR Trailhead (also called Aqua Fria Trailhead). Note that this trailhead is NOT within the main entry to the park.
