Come watch the full moon rise over the Mazatzal mountains. We’ll climb the short (.5 mile) Hilltop trail for a perfect view of the rising moon (weather permitting). Once we’ve had our fill of that, we’ll head out onto the Pemberton trail for a roughly 1.5-mile jaunt, enjoying the beauty of a desert landscape silvered by the moon and stars. Trails are easy-moderate, so expect some loose rock, uneven terrain and elevation change. Please wear sturdy, close-toed shoes, and bring plenty of water, and a flashlight. Restrooms are available near the trailhead. NO pets, please.
MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead Staging Area (end of Shallmo Drive).
