The hike will cover 3 miles on a out and back gaining 400 ft of elevation on loose rocky trail. The hike offers sweeping views of the Bradshaw and Hieroglyphic Mountains as well as on clear nights the stars. Hikers should have running shoes or hiking boots. Those with stability issues are encouraged to bring hiking poles. Every hiker needs a working flashlight or headlamp and water. Bathrooms are available at the trailhead but there is on water at the trailhead so please make sure to bring plenty with you. For those of you participating in the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge, this is a great way to work towards your goal! The challenge runs from Nov.1-Feb. 8.
