Ranger Derik will set up a microscope station in the Discovery Center. On display will be water samples collected from the lake and from the riparian habitat below the dam. You will have the opportunity to search through these samples and with the help of identification sheets and guide books you can ID your discoveries. The Ranger will be able to answer questions about a variety of lake related questions including boater safety, Arizona water sources, the importance of riparian habitat, etc.
