Join Ranger Olivia at this Butterfly Monitoring Discovery Station and learn more about how and why Maricopa County Parks monitor and support butterfly populations. Click program title for more details.

Twice a year, Maricopa County Parks and Recreations works with local experts and volunteers to spend a few hours out on our park trails to count and record butterfly populations. If you or someone you know would be interested in helping count butterflies and want more information on requirements or just want to know more about butterflies, then stop by the Nature Center anytime between 10am-12pm.
